In 1985, Mr. Wanit Surapongwanitchakoon
initiated Leng Power operations from a small Bangkok shop-horse, manrfacturing
audio and power transformers for the local market. In the decade previors
to establishing Leng Power, Mr. Wanit marketed audio and power consumer
products in the kingdom of Thailand. These experiences led him to the belief
that there was a need for a reliable producer of components who could deliver
on-time, on-budget, and without cutting quality. This initial guiding principle
of Leng Power has produced a substantial business exceeding even the most
optmistic hopes of the founder and his family.
Today, Leng Power occupies a modern six-story factory in the suburbs of bustling Bangkok. This main facility is staffed by over one-hundred employees and equipped with modern production and test equipment. Much of the equipment has been imported from advanced manufacturing countries, while the rest has been specially designed by Leng Power' s skilled experts to match exacting customer requirments.
Production quality and punctual delivery are key elements in the firm's strategy to build its reputation in the Thai and world markets. All new employees are trained emphasizing these two factors, and modern principles of production and quality control ard employed to ensure adhernence. All production, inventory, and financial data are fully networked for fast and complete accessibility. Mr. Wanit, his managerial staff, and every employee understands the importance of attention to details in exacing technical work. The result, in only six years, has been Leng Power's expansion from a small shop-house assembler into a contractor for the world's largest firms. Today, Leng Power has broadened its product line into many new areas to suit the demands of clientele. We ship hundreds of thousands of components per month to inebea (the largest investor in Thailand with its own production staff of over 10,000) as well as other foreign and joint-venturs investors.
